Celebrations, shares still available, and a new video

I hope it isn’t too late to extend warmest our wishes for a happy and peaceful New Year to you all. It’s been a an exciting and busy holiday period at the White Horse and our thanks go to Craig, Barbara and the team for extending their opening hours and welcoming the many visiting friends and relatives of the community. I’m sure that many would also join me in highlighting the exceptional quality of our relaunched pub’s first Christmas menu.

Share offer still open! DEADLINE EXTENDED

There’s still time to invest in our second share offer before it closes on 28 February. The funds are needed to help us complete the next vital phase of our campaign: safeguarding the long-term operational security of the pub by increasing inclusivity and financial resilience.

A huge thank you to all who have so far responded to the offer – over £44,000 (at 10 January). The shares and their certificates are proving very popular as gifts, and there’s been an astonishing response from our international investors whose share applications have comprised over half of the purchases made. We’re thrilled that our community aims are resonating with so many worldwide.

We’re so close to making this welcoming space truly accessible to all, so if you haven’t yet invested or are thinking of gifting an extra share or two, it would be fantastic if you could help us over the finishing line.

NEW: Pub Video walkthrough

We’re aware that many of you might not have had the opportunity to visit the White Horse, so here’s a short video walkthrough, taken in November which gives you an idea of the the layout of the bars. It was taken outside of opening hours to respect the privacy of our customers. Enjoy!

Signage on track

A while ago we took the decision on safety grounds to resite our signature hanging sign that was previously positioned on the front of the pub. Its position was exposed to impact from high sided vehicles (and it did eventually fall) so its replacement will be sited near the end of the garden on a traditional pillar-style structure. The new sign was delivered recently and we look forward to the installation over the next few weeks.

Thank you again for all your support. Together we’re looking forward to making 2025 a landmark year of consolidation and progress for the White Horse, and it’s great to have you with us for the journey ahead.

All best wishes,

Steve Callaghan
