On Friday 10 November, vandals have attacked both the SID and a 20mph sign* in The Ridings. This is a repeat of the vandalism that happened at the start of the year in Woodstock Road.
On Saturday 11 November, the same (presumably) individual or group vandalised the SID on the green opposite The White Horse.
This behaviour just costs the Councils (Parish and County) money, local volunteers time and effort plus police investigative resources. It will not change the 20mph speed limit which is now usual in many towns and villages across the nation.
If anyone has information regarding the people responsible for this vandalism please contact either

* UPDATE: Following an article in December’s Slate, a resident reported that the 20mph sign was actually damaged by a passing tractor on the Monday morning. Many thanks for this information.
