The Stonesfield Players’ autumn production takes place at the Village Hall on 21, 22 & 23 November at 8pm. This time we are performing three one-act comedies by David Tristram.
Peas
Have you ever joined an online dating agency? Remember those nerve-wracking first dates? The awkward drink in a pub? How bad can it be, after all perhaps you’ve found Mr or Miss Right? Disco dancing Daisy and celebrity look-a-like Gerry are about to find out. Will they be like peas in a pod or will it turn out to be a total mismatch?
Carrot
A manufacturing company needs to modernise and streamline, or go under. How can the new managing director persuade his shop floor union rep to come on-side with the necessary cutbacks? What carrots can he produce that will induce this long-standing and much respected member of staff to see things his way, and will the staunch union man fall for them?
Late Entry
Sarah Raymond is an actress, with a mission to win a drama festival with her monologue and finally hold a prize in her hands. But will the adjudicator be impressed by her acting? Can she convince him that she is the best in show? Can she overcome her unreliable props, dodgy accents and costume failures to shine above all the rest and deliver that winning speech?
