Stonesfield Parish Council can confirm there will be a bi-election this year to fill the existing parish councillor vacancy.
Prospective packs for candidates interested in becoming a councillor are available from the WODC elections team. If anyone would like to be considered as councillor at this election you need to complete the election pack and HAND DELIVER it to West Oxfordshire District Council between the 28 March to the 5 April ( no later than 4pm). There will then be a ballot on 5th May (Village Hall) if the election is contested.
If the election is not contested (no further candidates apply for the position) then the current person who has applied will be elected as a councillor.
