Did you know Stonesfield has TWO defibrillators in the village which are accessible to members of the public?
The Parish Council would like to ensure that everyone is aware of this vital life saving equipment.
Over the Christmas period we understand that the ambulance service mis-informed someone who needed a defibrillator that the nearest one was in a neighbouring village.
Our defibrillators are located at The Village Hall – Field Close, Stonesfield, OX29 8HA
and at the PreSchool – 4 Glovers Yard, Stonesfield, OX29 8PT
Both are outside the entrance doorway and are accessible every day, all day.
Both defibrillators have pads for both adults and children and are suitable for ALL users. Both are registered with South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS). When you dial 999 they will give you the codes to access the box.
The parish council funds batteries and pads for both defibrillators to ensure they are ready for use if required.
