We would love to see you at the next café, on Saturday 14 June in the club room at the Village Hall. We open at 10 am with fresh coffee, tea and delicious homemade cakes on offer.
Lunch is available from 12 noon (as well as cakes) in the form of soups with a selection of breads – all homemade. Although we do suggest prices, we operate on a ‘pay what you feel’ basis, with all proceeds used to support village causes.
The repair team will be in the main hall. We are passionate about supporting WODC’s recycling initiative by reducing the number of items sent to landfill. Did you know that all items brought in are weighed to calculate how much has been saved from landfill by the fabulous work of the repairers? Not everything can be fixed everything and sometimes items do just have to go, but before you arrange a trip to the tip do drop by to see if it can be fixed.
This month we will be repairing and maintaining bikes as well as everything else so do bring yours along if it needs a bit of TLC. If parts are needed, please bring them with you.
Do pop in and have some refreshments while you wait for a repair, catch up with friends, or, if you’ve been to the library, quietly get stuck in to your new book.
