WODC Uplands Planning Committee have unanimously rejected Pye’s planning application for 13 houses (extending their William Buckland Way development).
The Planning Officers had recommended refusal, and the Councillors agreed. Pye representatives made a pretty low-key case for approval that didn’t get any support. Richard Bishop (our local Councillor) made mention of the 150+ letters of objection from the community, so well done to those people who spent their time to write letters – it really is worth it.
Next step is to wait to see if Pye appeals the decision.
