More on plans for 1000 new homes in Eynsham

The emerging Local Plan proposes a new ‘Strategic Development Area’ (SDA) to the west of Eynsham, providing about 1000 homes together with a new spine road, primary school and other supporting infrastructure.

The details of the proposal will be taken forward through a ‘Supplementary Planning Document’ (SPD) which will build upon and add more detailed guidance or advice on the policies set out in the Local Plan.

As a first step in the SPD process the Council has produced an ‘issues paper’ which is intended to stimulate early debate and discussion about the West Eynsham SDA and the key issues and priorities to be addressed as the site is taken forward.

The Issues Paper is available for comment for 8 weeks, from Friday 27 July until Friday 21 September 2018.
