Thank you to everyone who supported the Stonesfield Garage Sale last Sunday. We are very pleased to confirm that just under £2,000 was raised for the following local causes: Chrissie’s Owls Friends of Stonesfield School (FoSS) Save our pub, #backthewhitehorse campaign Stonesfield Pre School & Daycare Stonesfield Scout Group Stonesfield Village Hall Sunshine Cat Rescue With additional funds being made by households recycling their unwanted wares, it was fantastic to see so many residents, families and village groups getting involved. Thanks also to Rich Jones for his expertise and time designing the poster and map for us, and Paul Bates for taking photos on the day. We’ve received lots of constructive feedback on how to make the next Garage Sale event, or perhaps a Car Boot Sale, even better – so watch this space for Spring 2021! In the meantime, thank you.
