I am excited to announce that the first meeting will be on Friday 22nd February – 7.30pm – 9.00pm in the St James Centre.
It is a completely informal meeting and will take place on the last Friday of every month. During the meeting one or two people will give a small demo / talk / display of what they do, create and enjoy. A chance to meet like-minded people and for those of us who run businesses as crafters, to network and learn from each other’s experiences. There will be tea and coffee available.
I am asking for a suggested optional donation of £1 each to go toward the hall hire and beverages on arrival. This meeting is open to everyone who is creative in someone way or other, whether that’s artists, stitchers, glass blowers or soap makers and also those interested in general craft too.
I will take the lead for our first meeting and give a small talk on my work as a silhouette and light artist. I would like to find one other person to give a small 5 minute talk during this first meeting, please let me know if you are interested.
