We are thrilled to announce that our upcoming exhibition Cotswold Art Exhibition opens at West Ox Arts Gallery in Bampton on the 22 March. The exhibition will be on view from 22 March to 19 April 2025.
The exhibition will feature a range of painting, sculpture, photography and ceramics by both emerging and established artists.
The artists in the exhibition include;
Teena Ackary, Anthony Lloyd, Lynn Edward, Robin McClelland, Laura Kedzlie, Neil George, Liming Chen and Deborah Last.
“Cotswold” seeks to explore the way that our exhibitors are inspired by the natural surroundings of the Cotswold area of outstanding natural beauty and its traditions and craftsmanship to create visual impact, evoke emotion, and storytelling through their own particular specialisms.
Teena Ackary – A writer, walker and potter. She studies esoteric sciences and aims to bring planetary energies into her ceramics.
Anthony Lloyd – A sculptor and printmaker based in Charlbury, whose sculpture is primarily stone carving but also includes constructions in steel and other materials.
Lynn Edward – Lynn lives in Bibury and paints in oils, her specialisms include quintessential English scenes and wildlife.
Robin McClelland – Robin’s ceramics are mostly hand built using stoneware clay, he enjoys constructing large abstract sculptures.
Laura Kedzlie – Contemporary abstract artist, working in oil and acrylics
Neil George – Photographer, has been taking pictures for over 50 years. Interested in the natural world particularly landscapes.
Liming Chen – A painter working in varied media including oil, acrylic, watercolour, gouache and ink. Inspired by the colours, textures and smells of nature allowing Liming to express emotion through her creative process.
Deborah Last – Deborah researches the landscape through an ‘en plein air’ practice, capturing the light and weather of the changing seasons. She works with a variety of materials, often mixed media.
