On Saturday 29th August ‘Cakes to ale’ gave the opportunity to buy delicious cakes and raise funds for supporting the Back the White Horse campaign. It also allowed people to chat to Stonesfield Community Pub committee members to find out more about the plans to save the last pub in our village for our community.

Just over £800 was raised – amazing! There was terrific support from the village, both in donating and buying and everyone seemed to enjoy the chance to socialise, too
