Blenheim’s shooting season started on 5 October and will run until the end of January.

Staff have been briefed that public rights of way must remain open and no one should be prevented from walking them. There will be a member of the team located on the footpath just to advise and inform people that they are shooting at that time. A shoot drive lasts around 40 minutes, and that member of staff will be able to answer any questions walkers may have.

Permissive paths will have clearer signage this year and staff to advise as above.

The shoots have been moved away from The Lince area of Bladon and the community path.

Stonesfield may experience some shooting around Foxholes path but all attempts will be made to limit this to between 10am and 12pm. This may be subject to slight change depending on the weather. The Oxfordshire Way may hear shoots but the shooting itself is not close to the path. The group who attended at the end of last year and were disrespectful to residents, have been banned from returning.

Shoots have been moved away from Combe, but some shots may still be heard.

Any questions, please do let me know.
