‘ A Journey Through Art’ seeks to explore the diverse ways that our exhibitors are inspired to create visual impact, evoke emotion, and storytelling through their own particular specialisms.

Kevin Scully trained at Wimbledon School of Art and is a practising artist, illustrator and tutor. He teaches painting and drawing in a wide range of mediums, and runs painting holidays at home and abroad.

Claire Stevens works in mixed media and collage.
Born in Hong Kong and inspired by her extensive travel as a child and young adult experiencing many cultures. She studied art and textile design at Portsmouth art college

Chantal Krugel is an artist who uses art therapy as a way to express emotion as well as cope with struggles surrounding mental health. She celebrates the female form through contemporary expressionism.

Kathryn Acton Is a printmaker specialising in Reduction Linoprint and Screenprint and is inspired by landscapes and Nature . She is a member of Oxford Art Society and Bafa Buckingham Printmakers.

Amanda Benstead explores form, colour, texture and composition, her work is informed by a mixed media approach, employing multiple processes and materials including ceramics, metals, paper, wax, printmaking and textiles.

Helen Pakeman works in basketry, textile, stone, clay, pastel and printmaking. Originally a printmaker, her work has evolved in the last few years to become more 3D and she is currently exploring basketry using foraged materials like nettles, dandelions and willow.

Paul Acton carves mainly abstract, semi-abstract and occasionally figurative pieces in a range of stone types including limestone, sandstone, marble, soapstone and alabaster. He enjoys the act of carving, the ring of the stone, the feel and even the distinctive smell of different types of stone.

Kashmira Patel Infuses life into the ceramics she creates. Her forms abound with strength and energy, and organically go with the ‘flow’. She likes to play with the clay and let it take form with shapes and textures as she goes along.
