On Sunday 22 August , a large crowd enjoyed a family-friendly day celebrating rural crafts and conservation on Sunday 22 August at Foxburrow Wood, Witney in fabulous sunshine!
There was heaps of entertainment—from falconry to ferret racing, pony rides to pole-lathing, live dry stone walling to live music, a beer tent, a tea tent, a second-hand bookstall, morris dancing… and more! A wide range of local community and conservation organisations were also at the Fair running fun sessions from fossil identification to nature walks around the reserve.
This year’s Forest Fair was largely open-air with outdoor and sheltered seating areas; everyone had plenty of space to spread out!
