Firstly, thank you to the many architects, builders, pub planners and hospitality professionals who’ve given valuable advice and support to get us to this stage. With an old building like The White Horse there are hidden challenges around every corner, but if everything is in place we are tentatively looking at an initial reopening period around the May Bank Holiday this year. In any event we are looking forward to the building being a venue to showcase local artistic talent during Oxfordshire Artweeks in May.
Once again we extend our grateful thanks to you all, with a special mention to Nicky Holland for organising the recent fundraiser. There may be many long evenings ahead for us in dealing with project management, compliance, budgeting, fundraising and planning, but we wouldn’t swap it for the world. Having the future of our pub, our community pub, back in our own hands is a privilege, and can’t wait to open the doors again and welcome you into YOUR pub.
