While we won’t be in a position to replace the bridge as originally planned at the end of the month, we still intend to make use of the time available to make progress on the new platform.Throughout the weekend, in the station area, we will be continuing our work on foundations for the new platform, including installing cable routes and ducting. This will involve excavating on our site located between Roger Dudman Way and platform 4. We will also be working on platform 3 to demolish a ramp at the southern end, near the rail bridge and by Mill Street to install new track. There will also be work taking place in the wider station area on signalling and ground investigations.

Throughout the weekend a section of the track at Culham – between Oxford station and Didcot Parkway – is also being replaced.
