Established in September 2012 this group has been meeting monthly in St. James’ Centre on a Tuesday from 10am – 12am. From 2021 to be the second Tuesday monthly.
Refreshments are provided and a small contribution taken towards this and the hire of the centre. We bring our own project to work on which ranges across the art and craft spectrum, including many forms of stitch and textile work as well as knitting and beading etc. If you have a large project, for instance a quilt to be sandwiched or pieced there is plenty of room to lay it out.
It’s an opportunity to meet people who have similar interests with a wide range of skills and experience, which they are happy to share and willing to help with advice and problem solving.
