Stonesfield Parish Council has submitted the Stonesfield Neighbourhood Plan to West Oxfordshire District Council which can be viewed here or by entering ‘Stonesfield Neighbourhood Plan’ in the search bar at www.westoxon.gov.uk.
The 6-week statutory Regulation 16 consultation on the Stonesfield Neighbourhood Plan is open for comments from Monday 12 January to 5pm on Monday 23 February 2026. We invite your comments about the draft Stonesfield Neighbourhood Plan within the above consultation period. Please email planning.policy@westoxon.gov.uk before 5pm on 23 February 2026.
If you don’t have a computer or smartphone, you can use the public computers at the village library. Staff there will help you locate the site.
The published Neighbourhood Plan on the WODC website has been amended to take account of as many of the comments received between February and May 2025 as possible. Where comments fell within the remit of the Plan, changes were made, including significant additions on young people and wellbeing. All feedback from last year’s consultation has been published.
We encourage everyone to read the amended Plan – it’s important that as many residents as possible write to the District Council with comments; in support as well as with objections.
