‘Heaven On Earth.’ This exhibition presents work created by WOA artists during summer 2025, inspired by visits to six historic churches—Kelmscott, Bampton, Stanton Harcourt, Cogges, Clanfield, and Alvescott—and by the enduring influence of Kelmscott Manor, William Morris’s “Heaven on Earth.”
Spanning a range of media, the pieces move from quick impressions to more reflective studies, with sketchbooks, drawings, and paintings capturing the artists’ responses to these spiritual and atmospheric places.
Whether you’re a regular visitor or have yet to scale the stairs to our welcoming gallery space, you’ll always find a warm reception and an ever-changing array of inspiring art to enjoy.
