Oxfordshire County Council sent a team to inspect the drains at Boot Street and Laughton Hill at the start of July.
As this flooding issue had been going on for some time a quick resolution was not anticipated. And we were right. The issue is not a simple ‘clear the silt’ but more complex, requiring more investigation and probably road closures.
SAFER will continue to liaise with OCC Highways and will update the village via the Slate and this website.
