The clerk and most councillors will be taking a break over Christmas. Emails will not be routinely checked after 18th December 2020 until 4th January 2021.

Mental Health
Christmas can be a really stressful time of year, whether you live with a mental health problem or not. There’s pressure to socialise with friends and family, more temptation to overindulge in food and drink and of course the financial strain that presents and celebrations can put on your bank balance. Samaritans is open throughout the Christmas festivities to provide emotional support to anyone who is struggling to cope. Christmas may be a wonderful time of year for some, but it’s also a time when feelings of loneliness, depression and anxiety can be overwhelming – not least because of the pressure to be happy and merry. For many people struggling to cope, Samaritans will be the only lifeline open when many other services are closed. They can be contacted any time, from any phone for FREE on 116 123.
