A host of new installations have been announced to create a magical outdoor trail as part of the unmissable Christmas at Blenheim Palace from Friday, November 17 until Monday, January 1.

Visitors can marvel at enchanting new features which will create an all-new winter wonderland in the world-renowned gardens of the 18th century Palace

New features for 2023 include Chandeliers by TILT, in which giant chandeliers look like they have fallen from an invisible ceiling in the sky before performing a ballet of colours to captivate unsuspecting passers-by.

ArtAV’s emotive Heart Arch Walk is another new installation at Blenheim this year, as is Sense Effects’ Water Fountain Show, a stunning combination of light and water which shoots into the air in time to music.

Squidsoup’s Singularity, a monolithic suspended sphere of abstract light and movement, is a first for Sony Music’s UK trails, whilst Lightworks’ Tubular Baubelles are half arches of lights which change colour and flash in time to the Christmas soundscape.

Other mesmerising new additions include Floating Candles by Pitaya, Neon Singing Trees by ITHACA Studio and Mandylights’ Starscape, a 40-metre-long tunnel filled with more than 700 handmade stars.

Sample some festive food in the East Courtyard as hand-picked street vendors bring an indulgent twist to the tempting treats on offer, then complete your walk under the stars with a *spiced winter warmer, hot chocolate or toasted marshmallow and share it with someone special.

Inside the Palace, marvel at the magical fairytale Sleeping Beauty, which has been reimagined with a contemporary twist for this year’s indoor trail.

Explore the rooms transformed by the retelling of this classic story for a new generation, from the Great Hall’s huge glistening Christmas tree to the candle-lit bedchamber where the Lilac Fairy watches over a sleeping Aurora.
