Charlbury Street Fair is on Saturday 21st Sept starting at 2pm (and going on until ‘late’)

Charlbury Street Fair is held once a year to bring the whole town together and help raise funds for the upkeep of two community buildings, the Memorial Hall and the Corner House.

This year’s theme will be ‘Time’ as we celebrate Larcum Kendal’s 300th birthday on Street Fair Day, 21st September. Kendal was a pioneer of watchmaking, making a copy of John Harrison’s first chronometer which was used by Captain Cook to aid accurate navigation on his second major voyage.

It is a great family friendly day in the heart of our town.
