Some of you may remember the performance of ‘The Children of Lir’ which storyteller Georgie Steele and I gave back in 2017 as part of Pop-up Folk.

I just wanted to spread the word that Georgie is doing a new solo performance, entitled ‘And I’ll Blow Your House Down’, at the Old Firestation on Tuesday July 12th – the performance can be seen in-person at the Old Firestation in Oxford, or online.

About ‘And I’ll Blow Your House Down’:

The Big Bad Wolf’s blown your house down.

Now how’s a pig like you going to start again?

Lived experience meets folklore in this funny and furious performance about dealing with a terrible diagnosis.

What if everything you expected from life, for yourself and for the people you love, had to change? Could you rise to the challenge, or would you be the pig whose house fell down at the first puff? A heartfelt and ridiculous tale, brought to you from the frontline of family disability.

Georgie is a fabulous performer and storyteller, and I know this will be a unique and memorable evening.
